Here are reviews of the first two episodes of "Queen of Tears," which has garnered significant attention for its dramatic narrative and stellar cast.

Episode 1 Review

The premiere of "Queen of Tears" introduces us to Baek Hyun-woo (played by Kim Soo-hyun) and Hong Hae-in (played by Kim Ji-won), a couple whose marriage is on the rocks. The episode begins with the couple participating in a documentary about famous personalities, where their strained relationship becomes evident. Hyun-woo's joy upon learning about Hae-in's terminal illness, which would free him from the marriage without divorce, sets a dark tone. Despite his attempts to feign sadness and concern, Hyun-woo's true motives are transparent. The episode concludes with a shocking revelation: Hae-in only has three months to live, setting the stage for emotional and moral conflicts

Episode 2 Review

In the second episode, Hyun-woo's manipulative tactics to secure Hae-in's assets are highlighted. He begins to feign love and concern for Hae-in, aiming to be included in her will. Hae-in, although suspicious, initially interprets Hyun-woo's actions as genuine concern. The episode also delves into Hae-in's strained relationship with her mother, who pressures her to reconnect with her ex-boyfriend, Yoon Eun-seong. The episode ends dramatically with Hyun-woo saving Hae-in from a wild boar attack during a family hunting trip, revealing that despite his ulterior motives, he still instinctively protects her. This complex interplay of emotions and motives adds depth to their troubled relationship

Overall, "Queen of Tears" sets up a compelling story with its initial episodes, blending emotional manipulation, family drama, and underlying love, promising an intense narrative journey.
